Whisk your 1st and second graders back in time and learn what life was like in our country's early days! Exploring the stories behind our flag, patriotic songs, and holidays, students will study the lives of people who contributed to our American heritage---including the Pilgrims, Native Americans, early colonists, pioneers, inventors, athletes, and immigrants. We will use the Our America curriculum by Abeka which features colorful illustrations, maps, and review questions throughout. We'll use simple worksheets, coloring pages, and occasional crafts to help students feel connected to our heritage.

Supplies Needed
Basic school supplies such as writing tools, coloring tools, scissors, glue sticks and a 3 prong folder -or- 1/2 inch binder.
