Sumter Museum Backcountry Tour & Temple Sinai Tour

We will meet and park at the Temple Sinai and walk as a group to the Sumter Museum grounds for the Backcountry tour. The Backcountry tour will be a guided tour of what a family farm in Sumter would have looked like and how it would have operated circa 1800, including period structures, blacksmithing, looming, and gardening. After the Backcountry tour, we will walk as a group back to the Temple Sinai Jewish History Center and have a guided tour of the Temple and learn about the history and impact of the Jewish community in Sumter and across America.
