Welcome to The Gazette

Every story has a beginning. At SAFE, that story begins with you.

The Gazette is a student-led journal that allows students to express their creativity, build peer-to-peer relationships, and work together to give a voice to the SAFE student body. In a generation that wants to put a damper on individuality, it’s up to us students to reclaim our voice.

This digital journal will provide coverage for SAFE events, keep our homeschool community updated about news and activities, and allow the student body to express themselves by collaborating on a range of articles. Ultimately, The Gazette is an outlet for students to express themselves and learn how to utilize their skills.

Why is this important? Because people, as we all know, are drawn to passion. Creativity has shaped our society in several ways. Think of the arts. From literature to visuals like paintings, from music to filmography, each of these things are rooted in passion. What about all the playwrights and authors who began just as you—a young scholar? What about the filmmakers and artists who discovered their passion at the same age you are now? As the future leaders of this generation, it’s our job to make a voice for ourselves and harbor our creativity. That starts here, with us—the students.

The Gazette is looking for high-schoolers who strive to make a difference with their talents. Our motto, “Soli Deo Gloria,” means this: “glory to God alone.” With that being said, let all that you do be for the glory of God. Pursue your creativity. Follow your passions. Because you are the future, and you are the voice that will make a difference.

Welcome to The Gazette.
